Video Editor, Motion Graphics

What will you do:
Edit short-form videos on deadline, ensuring clarity, pacing, and strong visual storytelling
Design and animate motion graphics, including charts, maps, and other visual elements that enhance reporting
Develop and maintain a consistent visual style across videos, aligned with existing brand and editorial standards
Build and refine templates and reusable graphic systems to support efficient, repeatable production
Collaborate with producers, reporters, and editors to translate complex topics into clear visual narratives
Prepare final exports and deliverables across platforms, ensuring technical and quality standards are met
Assist with studio shoots as needed, including basic lighting and camera support
At least 5 years of experience as a video editor and motion graphics designer, ideally in a news or documentary environment
Expertise in Adobe Premiere and After Effects, and skilled in animation, typography, and information design
Demonstrated ability to create clean, accurate, and fast-turnaround graphics for charts, maps, and visual explainers
Excellent visual judgment, with a strong sense of pacing, composition, and storytelling
Proven ability to work quickly under deadline while maintaining high production standards
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to take direction and provide creative input
