How to Get Hired at Akamai

Akamai is one of the original distributed-systems companies on the internet and still operates at a scale very few engineering organizations ever encounter, which makes it a uniquely strong place to deepen networking, security, and reliability skills.
The company has three intertwined business lines: content delivery, security, and Connected Cloud (post-Linode), and your career mobility inside Akamai is strongest if you understand how all three fit together.
