Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician with extensive experience in the metals industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in electrical, mechanical, welding, crane machine repairs, and general warehouse maintenance. This role requires a proactive problem-solver capable of ensuring the optimal performance of industrial equipment and facilities while adhering to safety and operational standards.

Job Function

  • Perform **preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.  
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, including cranes, welding equipment, and material handling systems.  
  • Conduct **welding and fabrication repairs on metal structures and equipment.  
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair warehouse infrastructure (doors, conveyors, lighting, etc.).  
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions in a timely manner.  
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company maintenance protocols.  
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.  
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment conditions.  
  • Train and mentor junior technicians as needed.  

 


Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in the metals industry.  
  • Technical training/certification in electrical systems, mechanical repairs, welding, and crane maintenance**.  
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC systems.  
  • Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and metal fabrication.  
  • Experience with overhead cranes, forklifts, and heavy machinery repairs.  
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.  
  • Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment (climbing, lifting, etc.).  
  • OSHA or other safety certifications are a plus.  

Compensation Range

The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $55,000.00/Hr. - USD $60,000.00/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
