Job Summary

Dubose National Energy is seeking 2nd shift CNC Machinist for their Clinton, North Carolina location. Candidates without relevant machining experience will not be considered.

Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Job Function

-Program, Setup and Operate 4 axis CNC Vertical and Horizontal machining centers utilizing G-Code programing.

-Program, Setup and Operate CNC Turning centers utilizing G-code programing.

-Select proper tooling in order to machine components as needed.

-Read and understand machining prints supplied in accordance to ASME Y14.5.

-Identify worn tooling in order to replace or adjust offsets.

-Machine components to customer supplied prints and tolerances.

-Utilize measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers etc. to check machined components.

-Machine components to better than +/- .002 tolerances.

-Machine shop to be kept clean and organized.


Required Skills

-Minimum 3-5 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.

-Proven ability to Program at the machine utilizing G-Code Programing.

-Proven ability to measure parts with common metrology equipment.

-Ability to follow direction in order to achieve shop goals.

-Positive ‘can-do’ attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take ownership.

-Available to work overtime if needed.

 

Considered a Plus:

-Knowledge and experience with SmartCam and/or BobCam.

-Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Tolerancing).

-Working knowledge of ANSI B4.2-78 (Metric limits and fits)

-Wire EDM experience. -Die sinker EDM experience.
