Monitor and enforce all process procedures in assigned factory to ensure SKX quality and specifications are being met.

  • Independently manage all production, quality, production planning
  • Manage relationship with factory top management (Head of Production & Head of QA) but with support from Production Team Leader or Senior Production Manager in implementing techniques and quality tools in daily production operations.
  • Manage junior team members and contribute considerably to the achievement of team objectives.
  • Ability to lead local QA team and work with factories to ensure quality is up to SKX quality level
  • Supervise junior production staff ensuring that quality is the paramount priority and focus.
     
  • Explain practices and directives to factory production heads and/or Skechers QA teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Influence factory production/ quality middle management and drive change to achieve production objectives.
  • Make day-to-day decisions within defined scope (with support on complex issues)
  • Account for production area with predefined scope of responsibilities.
  • Drive quality initiatives as assigned by management team.
  • Monitor and enforce all process procedures in assigned factory to ensure SKX quality and specifications are being met.
  • Ensure compliance of SKX Policies / Procedures in factory
  • Ensure daily stitching & lasting reports, and weekly order tracking list are done in a timely manner with accuracy.
  • Identify issues in a timely manner through AQL Process
  • Communicate all production issues through written report /update accurate production status
  • Serve as communication link between Sr. Production Manager and Commercialization, Mold Department and R&D, Packaging when working with factory.
  • Ensure compliance with all Skechers Specifications, Processes, Testing procedures.
  • Follow the total quality process from beginning of production through to shipping, including on time performance.
  • Actively participate with factory staff, Sr. production Manager in production planning, quality, and Die test meetings
  • Ensure First pairs are sent to LA on time and meet the expectation.
  • Ensure clear and concise communication with the factory and follow up
  • Approval of all materials from approved suppliers with proper testing reports
  • Conduct final inspections of finished goods and random daily inspections for all areas of production.
  • Report to regional quality leader and management team regarding quality situation in the area.
  • ​ Establish and support MQA implementation in factories.
