Job Purpose
The Workday Integration Specialist is responsible for driving the technical execution of the Temenos Workday Phase 2 implementation.
This role focuses on architecting, developing, and deploying complex integrations and custom applications using advanced Workday technologies, while owning the full integration delivery lifecycle across multiple functional areas.
Responsibilities
You will lead the end-to-end integration delivery lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, build, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, go-live deployment, and post-go-live hypercare.
You will design, build, test, and deploy complex inbound and outbound integrations between Workday, Temenos, and third-party vendor systems.
You will utilize Workday Extend to develop custom applications that enhance and tailor the Workday user experience for Phase 2 business requirements.
You will leverage Workday Orchestrate to automate complex cross-platform workflows and manage advanced integration logic.
You will develop scalable and maintainable integrations using Workday Studio and the Studio Starter Kit.
You will collaborate closely with functional leads and business stakeholders across multiple Workday modules to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
You will configure and maintain Workday security for integrations, including ISUs, ISSGs, security domains, and business process security.
You will ensure integrations comply with data privacy, security, and compliance standards.
You will support data extraction and integration logic using Workday reports to enable accurate downstream data consumption.
You will provide troubleshooting, triage, debugging, and resolution of integration failures during testing phases and hypercare.
You will maintain integration documentation, technical designs, and deployment artifacts throughout the project lifecycle.
You will support ongoing integration optimizations and enhancements following implementation.
Skills
Technical Skills
You should have 7+ years of dedicated experience developing Workday Integrations.
You should have Demonstrated ability to own the complete delivery lifecycle (Design → Build → SIT/UAT → Go-Live → Hypercare).
You should have extensive hands-on experience with Workday Integrations, including multiple full-cycle implementation projects.
You should have advanced expertise in Workday Extend and Workday Orchestrate for building custom applications and orchestrated workflows.
You should have deep proficiency in Workday Studio and the Studio Starter Kit for complex integration development.
You should have strong experience with Workday Core Connectors, Enterprise Interface Builders, and document transformation.
You should have advanced proficiency with Workday Web Services, including SOAP and REST APIs, as well as XML, XSLT, and XPath.
You should have strong experience developing and supporting Workday reports used for inbound and outbound integrations.
You should have a deep understanding of Workday security architecture as it relates to integration users and data access.
You should have proven integration experience across Workday HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning, and Reporting modules.
You should have experience delivering Phase 2 or post-production Workday implementations involving additional modules or enhancements.
You should have Workday Certifications in Integrations, Studio, or Extend are highly preferred.

You should have a proactive and detail-oriented approach to quality, testing, and documentation.
You should have the ability to perform effectively during go-live and hypercare periods in a fast-paced environment.
