Now, Meta is moving towards AI to help build the next evolution in social technology. As a researcher in AI hardware, software, and algorithms you will help shape Meta's AI strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research across AI hardware, software, and algorithms
  • Find opportunities for pathfinding research on AI hardware, software, and algorithms through working with the team, and more broadly, with Meta
  • Share the results within Meta and publish them externally
  • Bring the latest ideas to Meta, e.g., through inviting leading researchers to communicate their work at Meta, through sharing advances in the field through internal presentations and notes
  • Guide teammates on pathfinding

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Tenure-track/tenured faculty in CS or related fields, with a demonstrated publication record
  • Track record of publications reflecting expertise in theoretical and/or empirical research
  • Relevant research experience working on AI hardware, software, and algorithms
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment Proven track record of achieving significant results as demonstrated by publications at leading workshops, journals and conferences, as well as grants and fellowships
  • Experience with driving research at the team level in large-scale ML Systems/Compiler, AI Accelerator, and/or Distributed Systems
