Department Overview 

This role belongs to the IT Security Group within the Information Security & Privacy Governance Department. Our objective is to develop measures to ensure that our organizational data remains secure. While doing this, we often partner with other departments to advise them on security best practices. 

 

Position: 

Position Details 

As a Vice Manager, IT Security Group, you will play a key role in supporting and improving the organization's information security program.

Core responsibilities include:
- Managing security services and processes related to cloud security, secure access controls, data protection, and information security governance.
- Working closely with Corporate IT, 
cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders, you will help ensure that security controls are appropriately implemented and operated while supporting business requirements.
 

- This role involves overseeing day-to-day security operations, leading security-related projects, managing security service administration, and driving process improvements through automation where appropriate.
- You will also collaborate with global teams to support security initiatives, resolve operational issues, and improve the effectiveness of existing security controls.
- In addition, the role includes supporting team management activities, coordinating work across multiple areas of responsibility, and mentoring junior team members. Business-level English is required for meetings, email communication, documentation, and collaboration with global teams.
 

Mandatory Qualifications: 

- At least 7 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity operations, IT infrastructure, cloud security, or a related field. 

- Experience managing security technologies and services such as cloud security solutions, secure web access controls, data loss prevention (DLP), endpoint security, identity and access management, or similar technologies. 

- Strong understanding of information security concepts, including risk management, security operations, incident response, and security policy implementation. 

- Experience leading projects or coordinating security-related activities involving multiple teams. 

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

- TOEIC score of 800 or higher in English, and high-level proficiency in Japanese, both written and spoken. 
 

Desired Qualifications: 

- Experience managing or mentoring team members. 

- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Security+, ITIL, PMP, or similar industry certifications. 

- Experience with security monitoring, security assessments, cloud technologies, automation, and enterprise security platforms. 

- Experience working in a large enterprise or global organization.
