Total Rewards Business Partnering Lead – APAC

Location: Hyderabad, India

We are seeking a Total Rewards Business Partnering Lead – APAC to drive Lonza Group’s Total Rewards agenda in support of One Lonza and our business platforms, with primary accountability for China, India, and Singapore. Based in Hyderabad, this role ensures competitive, compliant, and business‑aligned reward solutions while contributing to global initiatives and supporting transformation programs, including the establishment of Lonza’s Global Capability Center (GCC) in India.

Role Purpose / Summary

The Total Rewards Business Partnering Lead – APAC acts as the regional lead for Compensation and Benefits, operating at the intersection of regional delivery, global collaboration, and transformation. The role serves as a trusted advisor to senior HR and business leaders, embedding Lonza’s Total Rewards principles, ensuring governance and compliance, and enabling strategic, locally relevant reward solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead delivery of Lonza’s Total Rewards agenda across APAC (India, China, Singapore).
  • Act as senior advisor to HRBPs and business leaders on compensation and benefits.
  • Serve as APAC subject‑matter expert on compensation regulations and policy implementation.
  • Partner with HR and managers to enable adoption of Total Rewards programs and pay‑for‑performance culture.
  • Contribute to global reward cycles, benchmarking, grading, and governance processes.
  • Hold regional leadership accountability for Benefits, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and cost efficiency.
  • Advise on compensation aspects of M&A, divestitures, and organizational changes.
  • Support transformation initiatives, including India GCC growth, aligning rewards with evolving needs.

Key Requirements

Domain Expertise

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Compensation & Benefits and Total Rewards leadership within APAC.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation regulations and benefits programs across India, China, and Singapore.
  • Experience supporting transformation initiatives and global capability centers is an advantage.

  • 10 + Years of Experience in global GCC
