Team Leader
Job Description
The Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating production activities on the M2 line to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and team performance targets are achieved. The role involves supervising operators, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, maintaining compliance with food safety standards, and ensuring efficient operation of production equipment.
Safety & Compliance
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the GFM2 & Multipack team.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct pre-start checks and address safety concerns promptly.
Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP, and quality requirements.
Production Management
Coordinate daily production activities to meet schedule requirements and production targets.
Monitor line performance, product quality, waste, and downtime.
Ensure efficient operation of packaging and processing equipment.
Escalate equipment issues and coordinate with maintenance and support teams when required.
Manage product changeovers and line setups to minimize downtime.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and support production operators to achieve performance expectations.
Allocate labour resources effectively based on operational requirements.
Provide training and on-the-job development for team members.
Foster teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.
Manage attendance, breaks, and shift handovers.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Ensure products meet Mondelez and customer quality standards.
Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance performance.
Support audits and compliance activities.
Communication & Reporting
Conduct shift start-up meetings and communicate production priorities.
Complete production reports, downtime records, and shift handover documentation.
Liaise with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Warehouse, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Escalate operational issues to Production Management as required.
Skills & Experience
Experience in FMCG or food manufacturing environments.
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Competent computer skills and production reporting experience
Experience using SAP for production reporting , inventory management, material transaction, and production order processing in a manufacturing envoirnment.

Day Shift
Direct Reports: Production Operators and Machine Operators assigned to the GFM2 & Multipack production line.
This role is responsible for ensuring the GFM2 & Multipack team operates as one cohesive unit with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement while supporting Mondelez International's values and manufacturing excellence standards.
