Overview

Mastercard’s Services organization is a key growth engine, delivering data-driven insights, analytics, and AI-powered solutions that enable clients to make smarter decisions and achieve better outcomes. Within Services, the Business & Market Insights (BMI) organization builds and commercializes analytics, experimentation, and decisioning products across financial and non-financial industries.

Within the Services organization, this role supports the Advanced Analytics (AA) organization. The Advanced Analytics area leverages cutting-edge AI and data science techniques to address complex business challenges, focusing on areas such as marketing, credit risk and business experimentation, providing innovative solutions that drive decision-making & operational excellence.


We are looking for a Strategy & Operations - Senior Specialist to drive product performance and operational excellence across a portfolio of data- and analytics-led products. In this role, you will establish clear performance frameworks, track and analyze key metrics, and turn insights into actions that improve growth, efficiency, and scalability. Working closely with product, regional, and leadership teams, you will help translate strategy into measurable outcomes, strengthen ways of working, and continuously improve how products are managed and optimized across multiple markets.



Role

Own and lead the design and governance of OKRs and KPIs across products and programs, ensuring alignment to strategic priorities and consistency across regions and functions.

Drive end-to-end performance tracking, including target setting, data quality, and reporting

Analyze product and portfolio performance to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.

Translate data insights into clear recommendations that shape product strategy and prioritization

Identify and lead cross-functional initiatives to improve product performance and efficiency, while defining and continuously refining operating models, governance practices, and ways of working to support scalable and effective execution.

Partner with cross-functional teams, including legal and compliance, to support scalable product delivery

Operate effectively in ambiguous and evolving environments, leading multiple high-impact initiatives in parallel



All about you

Proven ability to define and scale KPI/OKR frameworks and drive performance management across complex, cross-functional organizations

Significant experience in product operations, strategy, performance management, or program leadership, ideally within data, analytics, or regulated product environments

highly structured and outcome-oriented, with the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments while managing competing priorities, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership, a bias for action, and a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

Experience building dashboards and visualizing insights using Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics and reporting tools is preferred.
