As a Strategic Talent Sourcer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Finastra’s global Talent Acquisition strategy by identifying, engaging, and cultivating exceptional talent across critical functions, with a strong emphasis on high-demand skill areas. You will be a proactive partner to our TA team and hiring leaders, helping build high-quality pipelines and driving sourcing excellence through both traditional methodologies and cutting-edge, innovative approaches. Responsibilities & Deliverables Strategic Partnership & Sourcing Strategy: Collaborate closely with TA Partners and hiring managers to deeply understand role requirements, business objectives, and evolving talent needs. Design and execute tailored sourcing strategies for niche, senior, and hard‑to‑fill roles—particularly within AI, engineering, and technology domains. Act as a strategic sourcing advisor, providing insights on talent pools, competitive landscape, and market availability. Advanced Talent Identification: Utilize diverse sourcing channels—including LinkedIn, job boards, Boolean search, talent intelligence platforms, social media, and community networks—to identify high-caliber prospects. Build, assess, and qualify candidate profiles to ensure alignment with technical and business requirements. Lead outreach and engagement efforts, nurturing interest and building relationships with passive talent. Pipeline Development & Talent Mapping: Create and manage long-term pipelines for current and future hiring needs, ensuring readiness for key strategic roles. Conduct detailed talent mapping projects for critical skill sets and emerging needs. Maintain accurate, organized pipelines within Finastra’s HRIM/ATS (Workday preferred) to support data-driven decision making. Data, Insights & Optimization: Track, analyze, and report on sourcing metrics to measure effectiveness and refine strategy. Use data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for continuous improvement in talent acquisition. Stay current on AI-enabled sourcing tools, market insights, and global talent dynamics to enhance sourcing efficiency. Collaboration & Global Engagement: Communicate effectively and partner with HR, TA Partners, and global TA teams to ensure aligned objectives and consistent execution. Participate in global TA projects, including tool optimization, employer branding initiatives, process evolution, and sourcing innovation. Serve as a brand ambassador, promoting Finastra’s culture, values, and technology vision to the broader talent community. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Talent Sourcer or similar role in either agency or in-house environments, ideally supporting technical or niche roles. Strong expertise with Boolean search, X-ray search, and LinkedIn Recruiter, with deep knowledge of advanced search capabilities and sourcing best practices. Demonstrated ability to build trusted partnerships with TA Partners, hiring managers, and candidates. Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems—Workday strongly preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and adapt to changing priorities. A proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented mindset, with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity. Proven ability to build, nurture, and maintain pipelines for both immediate and long-term hiring needs.
