Job Purpose: 

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Start-Up Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in semiconductor processes and a passion for engineering, with experience in equipment start-up, process optimization, and troubleshooting. This role involves supporting the operational readiness of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and ensuring that all processes meet quality and performance standards. 

 Key Responsibilities: 

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the start-up and commissioning of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. 

- Assist in the development and implementation of start-up plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and performance metrics. 

- Conduct performance evaluations and technical assessments of equipment to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with standards. 

- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues during the start-up phase, applying root cause analysis techniques. 

- Monitor process performance and contribute to process optimization efforts to enhance productivity and quality. 

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of start-up processes, including reports on equipment performance, issues encountered, and resolutions. 

- Provide training and support to junior engineers and operators on new equipment and processes. 

- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in semiconductor technology to identify opportunities for process improvements.  

 

Skills and Knowledge: 

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 

- 2-4 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, equipment start-up, or related fields. 

- Strong understanding of semiconductor processes, equipment, and industry standards. 

- Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving in a manufacturing environment. 

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. 

- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills. 

- Proficiency in data analysis and experience with relevant software tools. 

- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. 

Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
