The Sr. Analyst, Franchising reports to the Sr Manager, Franchising, Burger King, to support the effort to grow the Burger King North America footprint through facilitating Franchise sale transactions with existing partners. This includes assisting in financial diligence and accompanying sale transactions from start to finish to ensure a smooth handover.
RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyze financials and conduct due diligence on franchisees capital structure to forecast future cashflow leverage covenants for 3 key work streams (Franchise MA, Capex allocation, Refinancing)Assist all aspects of franchise MA from start to finish connecting seller buyer (whether internal or external), all the way to closing the transaction
- Review franchisee capital allocation plans for the next 3-4 years to propose optimal remodel/capex schedule
- Evaluate franchisee debt terms in any refinancing that requires BKC approval
- Work closely with business unit leaders in supporting our Franchisee Improvement plans, leading to a better guest experience and long-term growth of the Burger King brand.
- Draft transaction memos and internal presentations for internal leadership approval
- Lead Change of Ownership and New Entity Creation processes from start to finish, ensuring the ownership structure of each Franchise Group is properly set up for success.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related degree
- 2-3 years of experience in a related field
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and project management skills
- Excel and financial modeling for diligence PowerPoint and presentation structuring
- Strong business acumen with a high sense of curiosity
- Ability to collaborate with different departments to collect variety of data and process transactions from start to finish
- Effective communication and people skills
- Honesty, high integrity, personal accountability, and a passion for the success of the brand, the team, and personal career growth
