Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational risk management framework for the Global Transaction Services (GTS) business, ensuring effective identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation of risks
  • Conduct product risk assessments and provide recommendations to enhance the risk profile of GTS products and services
  • Conduct annual risk & control self assessment across GTS products & services
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize business processes and implement effective controls to mitigate operational risks
  • Lead and participate in project management initiatives to drive process improvements and risk mitigation strategies
  • Provide subject matter expertise and advisory support to the GTS team on operational risk management best practices
  • Monitor and report on key risk indicators, incidents, and control effectiveness to senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Have experience in operational risk management, with a focus on the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in operational risk management
  • Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate operational risks
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
