What You'll Do
We are seeking an experienced and creative Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing communications, media engagement, event outreach, and
360-degree campaign management. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and operational excellence.
The candidate will be instrumental in driving ROI-focused campaigns, fostering partnerships with stakeholders,
media, and industry associations, and enhancing thought leadership in B2B marketing. A key focus will also be on
driving digital-led campaigns to amplify reach and engagement. Exposure to technology and AI-driven initiatives will
be an added advantage.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Marketing Communications: Develop and execute compelling marketing communication strategies.
- Craft clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to targeted audiences, including a decent emphasis on technology, AI, and digital transformation themes.
- Media, Event and Industry Engagement: The candidate must bring strong, existing media contacts; particularly with journalists and editors covering business, technology, consulting, and AI and a proven ability to leverage those relationships for coverage and placement.
- Identify the right journalists and associations to be connected with (including tech and AI ecosystem). Active relationships with key industry associations in the across industries or technology space.
- Identify and convert event opportunities into successful marketing initiatives. Manage events end-to-end from identification and planning through execution, post-event communications, and measurement. This includes industry conferences, closed-door roundtables, webinars, and leadership conclaves.
- 360-Degree Marketing Campaigns: Ideation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns for specific practice areas. Drive end-to-end promotion of BCG thought leadership pieces from report or POV publication through to media coverage, social amplification, event integration, and stakeholder distribution. Own this process, not just a part of it.
- Campaign management must be rigorous and end-to-end from brief and planning through execution, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and ROI measurement. The candidate should be comfortable owning a campaign independently from start to finish.
- The candidate must be tech-savvy and genuinely comfortable adopting new-age tools and platforms; including AI-powered tools (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT), marketing automation platforms, analytics dashboards, and content scheduling tools. Must not be hesitant to learn and experiment with new technology as it evolves.
- ROI and Metrics: Define objectives and success metrics for marketing initiatives. Analyse campaign outcomes and report on ROI to stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with senior consulting leaders to shape narratives, develop communication plans and translate complex business ideas into market-ready content
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field from a Tier-1 college.
- 5-8 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on communication and campaigns; ideally as a tech
- marketer or with exposure to AI/digital-led businesses or initiatives.
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel) and familiarity with tools like OneDrive, SharePoint,
- Tableau, PowerBI. Knowledge of photo and video editing software is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Proven experience in marketing communication, media engagement, and event execution.
- Strong, existing media contacts especially with journalists and editors covering business, technology, and AI; are a key differentiator for this role
- Ability to develop innovative and engaging marketing strategies and content, with an understanding of tech and AI-driven narratives.
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills; strong enough to produce publication-ready drafts, media pitches, and executive communications independently. Non-negotiable for this role.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies and lead generation techniques.
- Experience in leveraging data analytics to inform marketing strategies and measure performance.
- ROI-focused with a strong grasp of metrics and performance tracking.
- Tech-savvy and genuinely comfortable with new-age tools: AI writing tools (Claude, ChatGPT), digital content platforms, analytics dashboards, CMS, and marketing automation. Must not be hesitant to pick up and experiment with new tools as they emerge.
