The Role and Impact Join Intel as a SoC Design Verification Engineer and play a pivotal role in ensuring the functionality, quality, and security of cutting-edge System-on-Chip (SoC) designs. Key Responsibilities - Develop scalable and reusable block, subsystem, and SoC verification plans, test benches, and environments based on microarchitecture specifications. - Execute verification plans, run emulation and simulation models, and analyze power and performance to ensure design quality. - Debug and root-cause presilicon issues, implementing corrective measures to resolve failing tests and improve overall verification accuracy. - Collaborate with SoC architects, microarchitects, RTL developers, postsilicon teams, and physical design teams to optimize verification for complex architectural features. - Drive technical reviews of test plans and proofs with design and architecture teams, ensuring alignment and thorough coverage. - Incorporate security activities within test plans, including regression and debug tests, to ensure robust security validation coverage. - Enhance existing functional verification infrastructure and methodologies for continuous improvement. - Integrate lessons learned from postsilicon validation into updated test plans, addressing any missed coverage areas for future product iterations.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and at least 20 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree with 18 years of experience; - Proficiency in System Verilog and simulation-based verification methodologies such as OVM or UVM. - Expertise in SoC test environment and verification component development. - Strong hardware design knowledge, including logic design, simulation, validation, and debugging. - Experience in creating and executing SoC/IP verification plans and test environments. - Demonstrated problem-solving skills for analyzing and resolving complex design issues. Preferred Qualifications - Experience collaborating across teams, including architecture, design, and postsilicon groups. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present technical findings and drive alignment. - A proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. - Ability to work independently and lead technical reviews or projects where necessary.
