Job Description
At EA, we believe games are powerful because they bring together multiple ways people engage play, watch, create, and connect. And the biggest entertainment platforms aren't just places to consume content — they're places where communities build.
Creator-made content is already a part of EA's history — from community creation tools in Battlefield to The Gallery in The Sims 4. We believe creative technologies will expand how players engage with and contribute to our experiences, supported by thoughtful product design, safety systems, and global reach. Our focus is on helping more players participate in creative expression by making creation easier, safer, and more rewarding.
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager, Creator Tools to lead the product strategy for the tools creators use to make, edit, manage, and publish content across the EA ecosystem. You will focus on reducing friction in the creation journey, improving creator quality and retention, and helping more people create with confidence across priority regions while remaining compatible with a shared core platform.
You will define product requirements. You will also drive cross-functional execution for creator-facing workflows and systems. These include onboarding, creation interfaces, templates, asset workflows, editing and iteration loops, publishing flows, collaboration features, and quality guardrails. You will work with engineering, design, data, trust and safety, and regional teams to build intuitive, scalable, and safe tools that help creators go from idea to published content faster.
Responsibilities
Oversee product strategy for Creator Tools, with care for our goals and regional market needs.
Define important metrics for creator success. These metrics include creator activation, time-to-first-create, time-to-first-publish, publish rate, creator retention, repeat creation, and content quality. Promote these metrics to ensure creator success.
Identify friction across the creator journey and prioritise product improvements that make creation easier, faster, safer, and more rewarding.
Lead product development for creator-facing workflows such as onboarding, creation UX, editing, asset upload and management, templates, draft and versioning systems, publishing flows, and collaboration features.
Partner with design and engineering to build intuitive, high-velocity creation experiences across relevant platforms and devices.
Work with regional team members to support localization and culturalization of creator experiences, including templates, guidance, tone, policy education, and UX patterns.
Partner with Trust & Safety and Policy teams to embed guardrails, permissions, age-appropriate design, moderation hooks, and abuse prevention into creation and publishing workflows.
Collaborate with discovery, social, and marketplace teams to ensure creator tools connect to downstream distribution, community engagement, monetization, and feedback loops.
Establish instrumentation for creator funnels and workflows; run experiments and use data to improve conversion, retention, tool adoption, and output quality.
Translate creator research, behavioural data, and market insights into clear product requirements and prioritisation decisions.
Support launch planning, rollout strategy, beta programmes, issue assessment, and ongoing product quality for creator tools across regions.
Influence teams through structured product thinking and across geographies and disciplines.
Engage directly with creators and partners to understand unmet needs and identify opportunities to promote collaboration, usability and satisfaction.
Requirements
6–10 years of product management experience in consumer products, in creator tools, UGC platforms, games, social, media, or adjacent creative software environments.
Track record shipping product experiences that improved creation workflows, user activation, engagement, retention, or content output.
5+ years of experience with creator-facing systems such as editors, publishing tools, templates, asset pipelines, workflow management, collaboration tools, or creative assist features.
Experience with user-centred design for complex workflows, balancing power, usability, learnability, and speed.
5+ years of experience using data and experimentation to improve funnel performance, feature adoption, repeat usage, and creator outcomes.
Translate creator pain points into scalable product requirements and partner with Engineering and Design on execution details.
Familiarity with safety, moderation, privacy, child safety, and policy considerations relevant to creator products and publishing systems.
5+ years of experience supporting products across multiple regions, to localization, culturalization, and regional platform expectations.
Excellent collaboration skills with Engineering, Design, Data, Trust & Safety, Legal, Operations, and regional teams.
Mandarin and English written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to technical, business, and external audiences.
Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, HCI, Design, Economics, Business, or related field; equivalent experience also welcomed.
