Job Purpose

Ensures that milestones and program requirements are completed according to the company schedule, with a strong emphasis on the development, coordination and execution of cross functional projects. Interfaces with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and other organizations to ensure company milestones are completed according to program requirements and schedule.

Key Accountabilities

  • Overall success and management of Program schedule
  • Execution of agreed program goals and objectives (cost, schedule, weight, etc.)
  • Cross-functional coordination with all Integrated Product Teams and functional leaders

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or Aviation related technical field from a four-year college or university.
  • 15 years of working experience. Working experience in airplane development
  • Project Management Certification (PMP or similar)
  • Program Management Certification (PgMP) preferred

Key Performance Indicators

  • Performance (adherence) to plan – Schedule performance management
  • Cost management
  • Risk management

Decisions Expected

  • Make key program decisions which balance cost, schedule, within defined thresholds.
  • Identification & resolution of risks/issues, opportunities. Elevation of items to leadership whenever needed.
