Senior Financial Analyst

 As the Senior Financial Analyst you will be supporting the rapidly-growing Operations organization in Workforce Solutions division within Equifax. This role will be focused on coordinating and leading  budgeting, forecasting and month end close analysis for assigned areas.  The Senior Financial Analyst will interface frequently with the Senior Management team to deliver financial information in a concise and meaningful manner to foster effective decision making.


  

What you’ll do 

  • Lead monthly forecast cycles, rolling forecasts, and the annual budgeting process for Expense FP&A teams using data-driven and fact-based planning.

  • Deliver monthly financial reports to business partners and senior management, analyzing variances against budgets and forecasts to provide a clear narrative behind the data.

  • Serve as a financial advisor to the Operations Leadership Team, driving financial targets through insights into trends, metrics, headcount, and other expense drivers.

  • Develop analytical reporting and visualizations to steer strategic business decisions.

  • Support the execution of strategic cost-reduction and efficiency projects across Operations.

  • Conduct ad-hoc ROI analysis on growth initiatives and cost-saving opportunities within the Operations department.

What Experience you need 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required, with a strong preference for Business, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: 6–10 years of progressive professional experience, with a heavy emphasis on FP&A and complex Financial Modeling.

  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Oracle Hyperion, Oracle Essbase, and BI tools such as Tableau, or Power BI

  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across all levels of the organization.

  • Operations: Strong analytical mindset with the discipline to manage competing priorities and strict deadlines.

  • Tools: Highly proficient in the Google Workspace ecosystem (Sheets, Slides, etc.).

Nice to have: 

  • Leadership: Proven track record of successfully leading and developing teams.

  • Data Strategy: Proven ability to manipulate and visualize complex datasets using tools such as SQL

  • Operational Background: Demonstrated success operating within a Shared Services, Center of Excellence (CoE), or global support framework.
