For our fast-growing food venture Factor Europe we are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to support our ambitious growth plans.

In this role, you will be based in Wrocław, bridging the Senior Finance Business Partner and our Global Finance team, located at the Group’s Headquarters in Berlin. You take ownership of the Financial accounting and reporting across two legal entities and multiple European markets.

What you’ll do

• Execution of regular accounting processes for two legal entities and across multiple European market P&Ls
• Ownership of monthly financial reporting
• Coordination of transactional accounting (accounts payables, fixed assets, bank reconciliations) in our service center in The Philippines
• Delivery of regular and ad hoc reporting
• Data-submissions for VAT declarations and local CIT tax reporting
• Have the opportunity to provide in-depth value adding analysis to both financial and non-financial senior management which could have a lasting impact on the group globally.
• Support the local management and Finance leadership on the month end close board packs preparation supporting commentary across the operational departments.

What you’ll bring

• Passion, drive and great communication skills.
• Experience in a similar role previously, 4-5 years experience working in finance and accounting.
• Preferred CA/ACCA/CPA qualified or part qualified.
• An eye and appreciation for detail and an understanding of data structures and complex systems/workflows.
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets and exposure to an ERP system (experience with Oracle Fusion would be advantageous).
• Open to innovative data processing technologies
