We’re looking for experienced and passionate Senior DevOps Engineers to join our Financial Messaging team at Finastra. You’ll be part of a high-impact team driving the evolution of our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational excellence across mission-critical systems.
Location: Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Philippines
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree required
Proven experience in a DevOps, SRE or Systems Engineering roles
Strong expertise in container orchestration and infrastructure-as-code
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible)
Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures
Experience with Linux system administration, especially RHEL
Hands-on experience managing and operating containerized applications within Kubernetes clusters
Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere
Knowledge of networking fundamentals, firewalls, routing, and security
Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks
Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and release engineering
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional teams
Fluent English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, security tools
Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio)
Exposure to GitOps workflows and DevSecOps practices
Background in financial services or regulated environments
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
Manage containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance
Contribute to automation and scripting efforts using Ansible, Bash and Python
Administer, troubleshoot and optimize environments running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware vSphere, and cloud platforms
· Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/Splunk and Zabbix
Integrate and maintain security tools such as Aqua Security and Arnica for vulnerability scanning and policy enforcement
Manage and configure Apache HTTPD, NGINX and reverse proxies
· Design and maintain networking components including DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs
Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve release and deployment processes; ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of applications
Troubleshoot networking issues and optimize performance across distributed systems
Participate in architectural reviews and provide input on DevOps best practices and tooling
