We’re looking for experienced and passionate Senior DevOps Engineers to join our Financial Messaging team at Finastra. You’ll be part of a high-impact team driving the evolution of our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational excellence across mission-critical systems.

Location: Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Philippines

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Proven experience in a DevOps, SRE or Systems Engineering roles

  • Strong expertise in container orchestration and infrastructure-as-code

  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, Ansible)

  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid architectures

  • Experience with Linux system administration, especially RHEL

  • Hands-on experience managing and operating containerized applications within Kubernetes clusters

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere

  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals, firewalls, routing, and security

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting stacks

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and release engineering

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional teams

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, security tools

  • Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio)

  • Exposure to GitOps workflows and DevSecOps practices

  • Background in financial services or regulated environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using JenkinsGitHub Actions, and ArgoCD

  • Manage containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance

  • Contribute to automation and scripting efforts using Ansible, Bash and Python

  • Administer, troubleshoot and optimize environments running on Red Hat Enterprise LinuxVMware vSphere, and cloud platforms

·         Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki/Splunk and Zabbix

  • Integrate and maintain security tools such as Aqua Security and Arnica for vulnerability scanning and policy enforcement

  • Manage and configure Apache HTTPD, NGINX and reverse proxies

·         Design and maintain networking components including DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and VPNs

  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve release and deployment processes; ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of applications

  • Troubleshoot networking issues and optimize performance across distributed systems

  • Participate in architectural reviews and provide input on DevOps best practices and tooling
