Job Description
Assist in the planning and execution of the Event Response Team functions. Assist in planning for and responding to events that impact operations.The Sr Business Continuity Associate is a key member of the Enterprise Resiliency team, responsible for supporting the firm’s preparedness for and response to disruptive events. This role ensures that event response documentation, processes, and coordination mechanisms are maintained and executed effectively.
The position includes on-call responsibilities approximately 20–30% of the time, supporting real-time response when events occur.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Response Execution
- Serve as a central coordination point during events, working directly with business leaders, technology teams, and risk partners
- Support activation and execution of the Event Response framework and associated response activities
- Facilitate communication, coordination, and tracking of actions across responding teams
- Assist in managing event status reporting and escalation updates to leadership
Documentation & Governance
- Maintain and update crisis management, event response, and playbook documentation
- Ensure documentation reflects current processes, roles, and regulatory expectations
- Capture and document key decisions, actions, and outcomes during events
- Support post-incident review activities, including tracking follow-up actions to completion
Planning & Preparedness
- Partner with Enterprise Resiliency team members to plan and execute exercises and simulations
- Support ongoing enhancement of event response frameworks, tools, and processes
- Identify opportunities to improve response effectiveness, coordination, and documentation
- Contribute to development of standards, guidance, and training materials
Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders across business, technology, risk, and communications
- Support alignment between Enterprise Resiliency and lines of business during both planning and response
- Facilitate coordination across teams to ensure consistent and effective event response practices
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent with a degree focus in business continuity, crisis response, incident management; or equivalent work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and documentation management skills
- 3-5 years risk management or internal audit experience within a Technology organization

Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.
Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $76,300 - $104,000 a year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
