About EdelmanNEXT EdelmanNEXT is our enriched internship program designed to provide real-world experience, training, and mentorship. You’ll be empowered with the skills and exposure to kickstart a career in research, communications, or marketing analytics. This full-time, 6-month internship (Jul to Dec 2026) includes a well-rounded curriculum where you will: Gain exposure to integrated communications and how insights drive brand value. Learn how to conduct research using both traditional and AI-enabled methods. Contribute to editorial and creative content development. Understand how data, dashboards, and automation power modern storytelling. Participate in client events and cross-functional collaboration. Receive mentorship from experienced researchers and strategists. Be part of a supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking culture. What You’ll Do As part of the Data & Intelligence (DXI) team, you’ll support high-profile client projects across primary, secondary, and AI-assisted research. With training and guidance, you’ll: Assist with project coordination and research execution — from scoping to delivery. Support research design, data collection, quality control, and analysis. Contribute to both qualitative and quantitative research efforts. Use AI-enabled tools for media monitoring, sentiment analysis, and trend detection. Help configure and optimize dashboards and automated reporting tools. Analyze media and social content for key metrics (e.g., sentiment, influencers, messaging). Conduct desk research and landscape reviews to support strategic insights. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery. What We’re Looking For A quick learner with a growth mindset and strong attention to detail. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills. Interest in data, research, and how AI is transforming the insights space. Familiarity with Microsoft Office; bonus if you’ve dabbled in tools like Power BI, Tableau, or social listening platforms. Exposure to data analysis, statistics, or research methods (qual or quant) is a plus. Experience with SPSS, Python, or other analytics tools is a bonus — but not required. Preferred Background Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field. Curious about how insights shape brand strategy, public opinion, and media narratives. Eager to explore how AI can enhance research workflows and storytelling.
