Team Overview

The Payin Payment Methods track is part of the Traveler Payments area, within the FinTech business unit. Vision for Traveler Payments is to provide a seamless and secure payments experience that empowers travelers to experience the world effortlessly — through innovative financial products and localized payment solutions.

 

Role Overview

As a Product Manager in Payin Payment Methods track, you will be a key driver in expanding and localizing the online payment experience for travelers globally. You will own the strategy and execution for integrating new local and alternative payment methods (APMs) to enhance traveler conversion and satisfaction in key markets. This role involves end-to-end management of integrating new Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and optimising the payment experience to provide travelers with localised, reliable, and secure options to pay online.

 

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for your product area;

  • Lead a portfolio of new product launches as well as product optimisations;

  • Define the KPIs for your product, and be the ultimate responsible for its success;

  • Research and identify partner and stakeholder needs and effectively manage their expectations;

  • Work closely with a cross-functional team and stakeholders to build and operate your product;

  • Engage with other product leaders within Booking.com to define and drive the development priorities for your product.

 

Role Qualifications and Requirements 

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience as a Product Manager in the FinTech/Payments domain.

  • Experience of working in FinTech/Payments department at large scale organisations or experience of working in psps.

  • A track record for shipping large-scale, successful software products;

  • Experience in working with many cross functional teams;

  • Ability to communicate optimally across all levels of the organization;

  • Strong stakeholder management and agile prioritization skills;

  • Proficiency in product discovery and product delivery techniques;

  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, and a basic technical understanding of how large-scale systems are built.
