Key job responsibilities
As a Strategy and Business development leader, your role is to identify and deliver high-impact engagements for AWS customers. This person will be responsible for assessing inbound requests, independently managing opportunities end-to-end (commonly the most complex challenges in never-been-done before deals) and driving these high impact partnerships through to completion. We are looking for someone who has the business acumen to structure best in class partnerships that create value for Amazon, Amazon Web Services (AWS), as well as our AWS end-customers. The ability to manage executive relationships (internal and customer-facing) will be critical as this person will negotiate partnership deals that are non-standard, need a centralized advocate, and/or have broader implications to AWS and other Amazon business units that are not immediately obvious.
This key role will be highly visible at the most senior levels of AWS and Amazon. You will need to work collaboratively with internal leadership teams to understand relative advantages and risks, if/when major features should be included to existing roadmaps, along with having a pulse on current trends around innovation, consolidation, AI and cloud adoption. We dive deep and provide thoughtful technical and business analysis, while being able to balance the ability to quickly gain the appropriate context to enable data-driven decision-making.
