In this role, you have the opportunity to

The purposes of this position are:

PR strategy supports the long-term goals of category growth and brand strength, with success measured by the extent to which Philips moves from being a nice-to-have to a must-have across its consumer product categories. Enhance category superior proposition to gain share of mind & share of voice among consumers.

He/ She plays an important role in ensuring world-class marketing by:

  • Help to establish PR strategy on PR framework that can well deliver brand strategy and proposition in China

  • Help to build a network of China local media & professional key opinion leaders and trend setters, to support ongoing PR efforts through speaking engagements and media commentary.

  • Work closely with RBU category to drive and elevate consumer experience to contribute on consumer scale and efficiency

  • Develop category content thinking with best-practice facilities to improve organization-wide marketing proficiency.

  • Communicate with global and BU marketing team to translate the strategies into PR & content strategy.

  • Execute PR initiatives and eventsand engage with media to maximize the band impact and elevate the recognition of consumers to Philips brand and product categories.

You are a part of

You will report to Philips Personal Health PR leader and collaborate with many other teams including RBU, Media, Social, Insights team etc.,.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Strong expertise in product PR and new product launch communication

  • Excellent content and copywriting skills

  • Proven experience in event execution; IMC experience is a plus

  • Strong ownership with good collaboration spirit

  • Product PR proficiency & strong relationship with media, esp. social media

  • E2E mindset, self-driving, open-minded and welcome new initiatives and challenges

  • Maturity to independently manage projects and strong influence power

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, result-driven and strong analytical justification for all decisions;

  • Strong English and Chinese communication skills, both written and verbal;
