Your role at a glance The Business Intelligence Analyst focuses on semantic-level data modeling of the central reporting repository and the visualization of data - integrating and harmonizing diverse, unaligned datasets across functions in the existing data model. The role is responsible for maintaining and evolving the semantic data model to ensure consistency and usability while integrating more data points and dimensions. The role also productizes dashboards and transforms data into actionable insights and user ready analytics for internal users through various channels. What we are looking for Key Roles and Responsibilities: Analyse complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. Contribute technical insight, suggestions, and knowledge to others within the relevant teams. Design and maintain business intelligence reports and analytics. Identify the relevant sources of data from which to draw information. Maintain processes for ensuring data accuracy and current relevance and representation. Identify process improvements to streamline data collection and report generation. Main tasks: Design, align, and standardize a central semantic data model, ensuring integration of diverse datasets, model security, and adherence to data governance best practices Monitor and optimize data model performance; maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing models for reporting, AI and advanced analytics Productize dashboards and analytics: develop, document, and maintain user-ready, actionable insights with robust dashboarding and enablement support Operational support & ticketing: address dataset refresh incidents, schema or access changes, and coordinate with source teams on upstream issues Drive AI readiness of the model and its integration into existing AI tools (MS Copilot, …) Professional skills: Advanced Power BI (data modelling/star schema, DAX, performance tuning), and semantic model stewardship. Solid SQL, data wrangling and refresh orchestration; understanding of dataset/source governance and change control. Familiarity with Azure ADF/Fabric/Databricks concepts; ability to collaborate with data engineers on pipeline readiness. Proven enablement materials creation (visual insights, tooltips, user guides). Soft skills: Fluent in English language, both written and verbal Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Strong focus on quality and scalability of concepts and implementations Customer‑centric communicator who can translate complex data topics into crisp business messages Meticulous attention to detail; calm under time pressure with multiple stakeholders. Collaborative problem‑solver who elevates standards and shares knowledge.
