Schedule: Weekend Option | Part-time | Saturday and Sunday | 7am - 7pm
How you'll make an impact in this role
- Lead daily operating room work flow and staffing coordination to ensure safe patient care, efficient case flow, and appropriate team coverage throughout the shift.
- Assign, support, and mentor nursing and support staff while fostering collaboration, accountability, and high clinical standards across the surgical team.
- Assess patient care needs and coordinate assignments strategically to ensure quality, population-appropriate care for surgical patients across varying levels of acuity.
- Monitor patient outcomes and address care concerns pro actively to support patient safety, service excellence, and continuous quality improvement.
- Partner with leadership on staff development, training, and performance feedback to help build a strong, engaged Operating Room team.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board ofNursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need
- Prior Charge Nurse experience.
- Minimum 3 years of OR experience.
