Patent Counsel (Contractor)
The selected candidate will counsel engineering teams, researchers, and other business unit stakeholders on patent protection and IP strategy for a wide variety of technologies in the automotive sector, from infotainment and car or app UI, AI and data science, vehicle connectivity, electric vehicle technology, autonomous driving, and will contribute to expanding an intellectual property portfolio that builds on Mercedes Benz’s industry-leading innovation in the automotive industry. The selected candidate will work as a contractor full-time (40 hours per week), and has the option for remote work. There may be an opportunity for this contractor position to be converted to FTE, upon relocation to the Atlanta, GA office.

Additional Information:
The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, job-related education, skills, and experience, geographic location, and market conditions. The current salary range for this position is as follows and may be modified in the future: $78/hr - $86/hr.
