Order to Cash Accountant

We are looking for an Order to Cash Accountant who is detail‑oriented, proactive, and collaborative to join us in our Finance team, based in our Monheim office in Germany.

About the role

You will be working in a team that ensures accurate and compliant Order to Cash operations for our activities in Germany and Austria. In this role, you will manage customer accounts, payment processes, and compliance reporting while acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will work independently within defined guidelines and contribute your expertise to drive continuous improvements across finance processes.

Who you’ll work with

You will be working in a team that collaborates closely with local and global finance functions, including credit management, treasury, and our outsourced accounting partner. You will engage with pharmacies, banks, and internal auditors, contributing to a professional, multicultural, and supportive environment focused on accuracy, service, and compliance.

What you’ll do

• Manage day‑to‑day accounts receivable activities, including customer reconciliations and dunning processes.
• Coordinate payment processes, manual payments, and banking activities for Germany and Austria.
• Prepare required regulatory reports, including national bank reporting and compliance submissions.
• Collaborate with and supervise outsourced teams handling direct debit and cash allocation tasks.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure all reconciliations are accurate and up to date.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to global finance projects.

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills

• Certified Accountant qualification or several years of accounting experience in a multinational environment.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, ideally within Order to Cash.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, especially German GAAP; International Financial Reporting Standards knowledge is a plus.
• Strong systems knowledge, including Excel, enterprise resource planning systems (SAP), and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report data accurately.
• Fluent spoken and written German and good English communication skills.
