What we’re looking for:

Freo Group is seeking an organised, proactive and customer focused Operations Coordinator to support our growing Karara operations.

This is a unique opportunity to combine office-based operational planning with onsite coordination, working closely with our Superintendent, Supervisors and operational teams to ensure the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of crane and lifting services.

Working a 4 days on / 3 days off roster, you'll spend Mondays at our Kwinana Branch and Tuesday to Thursday at Karara Mine Site, becoming an integral part of both our operational and leadership teams.

What you’ll bring to the team:

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoys solving problems before they become issues.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Experience in operations coordination, mobilisation, workforce planning and administration

  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail

  • The ability to manage multiple competing priorities

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • A pro-active, solutions-focused approach

  • Experience within mining, maintenance, industrial services, cranes, logistics or construction (highly regarded)

Experience with mobilisation systems, payroll, invoicing or procurement will be highly regarded.

What you’ll be doing:

No two days are the same. You'll be responsible for coordinating people, mobilisation, compliance, customer requirements and operational administration to keep our business running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating labour, equipment and operational resources

  • Supporting workforce planning and scheduling

  • Managing employee mobilisation, travel and site access

  • Maintaining training, competency and compliance records

  • Coordinating shutdown and project requirements

  • Preparing customer invoices and supporting month-end billing

  • Processing payroll information and operational documentation

  • Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders

  • Supporting reporting, procurement and branch administration

  • Assisting the operational team to deliver exceptional customer service
