Your role at a glance

The Senior Team Lead, IT Information Systems is a development management role, responsible for supervising and controlling technologies and providing technology support, as well as analyzing systems and processes for deployment and ensuring fit for purpose.

This developing management role provides, operates and maintains technology within the organization and are involved in tactical planning whilst contributing to the fostering of a collaborate and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.

What we are looking for

Key Responsibilities: Coordinates the execution of the IT strategy ensuring alignment to the overall business strategy. Ensures that network equipment, hardware and software, services meet the business requirement. Provides input into the technology planning of the organization ensuring that strategic and high impact technologies are utilized to ensure its competitive positioning. Participates in the development of annual technology goals and detailed plans for goal accomplishment. Assists with the identification of emerging information technologies to be assimilated, integrated and introduced within the infrastructure and ensure that the company stays current and competitive in terms of infrastructure and services. Coordinates the development, design and implementation of new applications and changes to existing systems and software packages. Manages and maintains applications and systems and the acquisition, installation and maintenance of the local area network hardware and/or software. Implements and maintains technology policies, standards and procedures manual and the related technology checklists and provide written technology policy guidance to direct reports. Ensures the continual functioning of mission critical operations and assists with the planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluation of the operations of the information systems. Develops the skills to manage and lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative team cultures focused on operational excellence. Knowledge and Attributes: Demonstrates high accuracy and thoroughness. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Developing ability to operationally lead and manage a team of IT specialists/experts. Advanced client engagement skills coupled with the ability to conduct presentations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive in approach with have high levels of motivation, being a self-starter with excellent planning and organizing skills. Methodical and analytical with a sound knowledge of project management principles. Exhibits sound and accurate judgement and logical reasoning, demonstrating a positive and proactive attitude. Seasoned working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems. Displays critical thinking and decision-making skills. Seasoned understanding of network architecture and client/server technology. Academic Qualifications and Certifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Service Management, Scaled Agile are beneficial. Required experience: Seasoned experience working in IT operations, preferably within a global IT services organization. Moderate level of experience leading and managing IT professionals/experts. Seasoned experience working as part of an Agile team, using Agile principles and methods. Seasoned business experience (particularly experience gained within the fields of project management, technical support, systems programming or computer operations) would be beneficial.
