Position Overview
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced and patient-focused MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Round Rock Medical Center. This role requires flexibility to work evenings and/or weekends, supporting a high-volume, fast-paced hospital environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an MRI technologist looking to grow within a leading healthcare system while working with advanced imaging technology and a collaborative care team.

What You’ll Do
- Perform high-quality MRI procedures according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
- Ensure accurate patient positioning, image quality, and exam efficiency.
- Utilize AIDET communication to provide exceptional patient experiences.
- Prepare patients and equipment while maintaining safety and comfort.
- Follow strict MRI safety, infection control, and sterile technique standards.
- Maintain imaging equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness expectations.
- Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Verify patient history, requisitions, pregnancy screening, and exam documentation.
- Maintain accurate imaging records in PACS and EMR systems.
Assist with inventory management and departmental workflow.

Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI Program
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of MRI or relevant imaging experience required
- Hospital experience preferred
Certifications & Licensure
ARRT (MR) or ARRT (R) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
