- Full-time 40 hours, with 1 x RDO every 4 weeks

About the Project
Supporting Seqwater, Ventia deliver preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance along with electrical, mechanical and instrumental services across its water network. Servicing across 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations and 26 referable dams.
About the Role
The Mechanical Tradesperson purpose is to deliver workorders including fault finding, repairs and servicing and renewals of mechanical equipment across the Seqwater network.
We are looking for Mechanical Tradespeople to help cover the Southern Region.
**Candidates must be willing to undergo a medical and police check as part of the recruitment process**
Key duties include but are not limited to:
Perform and deliver allocated work orders
- Service, repair and inspect assets such as pumps, gearboxes, actuators, cranes& winches etc
- Perform administrative tasks and document work progressions within the computerised maintenance management system. (CMMS)
- Travel and commute to relevant assets across the network including attendance to pre-start meetings
- Ensure adherence to safety, compliance, policy and procedures
- Reporting activities relating to works planned, completed, risks and issues, with a focus on ongoing improvement of processes to support delivery.
About You
- Experience Mechanical Trade across large maintenance programs and networks
- Experience servicing technical mechanical assets actuators, gearboxes and pumps
- Current C Class Driver Licence
- Trade Mechanical certificate
- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - HLTAID001 (1 year validity)
- Provide First Aid - HLTAID003 (3-year validity)
- Gas test Atmosphere- MSMWHS217 (3-year validity)
- Confined Space Entry - RIIWHS202E, MSMPER205,MSMPER200 (3-year validity)
- Working at Heights - RIIWHS204E (2-year validity)
