Managing Director Merkle Sweden  

We’re looking for a commercially driven and visionary Managing Director to lead and grow our CXM business within Merkle, a part of dentsu. 

This is a pivotal leadership role with full accountability for business performance, strategic direction, and long-term growth. Reporting directly to the CEO of dentsu Sweden, you will lead a future ready, data driven organization while acting as a senior partner to key clients and delivering measurable business impact. 

 

What you’ll do 

  • Own the overall business strategy, growth, and P&L 

  • Lead key client relationships and drive strategic account development 

  • Build pipeline and drive new business alongside expanding existing partnerships 

  • Lead transformation of capabilities, services, and ways of working 

  • Lead and inspire a high performing organization 

  • Collaborate across media, creative, and CXM to deliver integrated and scalable client solutions 

  • Position the organization as a leader in CXM, digital transformation, and data-driven marketing and act as a strong brand ambassador for dentsu and Merkle 
     

 

Who you are 

You are a senior commercial leader with strong P&L experience and a deep understanding of Customer Experience Management (CXM). You thrive in complex, client-driven environments, are confident engaging at C-level, and bring clarity, energy, and direction to both people and business. You bring international experience and are comfortable operating in a matrix organization, with excellent communication skills and full professional proficiency in both English and Swedish.

This is a permanent position based in our Stockholm office, with a start date by agreement and an initial 6 month probationary period.
