ABOUT THE JOB  

This is a role that provide direct line 1 risk support to the Chief Operating Office of Technology & Enterprise Operations (T&EO) as well as the Group Executive of T&EO. The role will provide support to Head of Risk Enablement and Delivery, covering the management of day-to-day risks, reporting of matters to the COO risk forum and GETEO office as well as assisting in the ongoing uplift of enterprise risk and risk culture across T&EO.  

What and how is it expected to contribute to results?  

  • Adherence to obligations and regulatory requirements for T&EO; 

  • Control effectiveness, obligation linkage and understanding rolled up to ISC score and core metric adherence; 

  • Ensure all obligations are understood, operationalised and controlled appropriately with an initial focus on new payroll related requirements 
     

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Ensuring that NAB’s risk management strategy, operational risk management and control frameworks are applied effectively; 

  • Providing advice and guidance on risk, obligations, events and control items; 

  • Conducting compliance and operational risk reporting 

  • Performing risk and control reviews and regularly assessing impacts; 

  • Ensuring issues are known and resolved in a timely manner, lead gap assessment and treatment plan execution; 

  • Leveraging skills form other specialist teams as needed and is suitable; 

  • Performing management of control environment through design, testing and management of controls 

  • Team leadership 

  • Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time. 

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE  

Must-have  

  • 9+ years' experience in risk management/risk control in Financial Services/Banking domain, ideally within a Technology portfolio 

  • At least 4 years' experience in leadership role related to operational reporting  

  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills – experience with executive /BU Head of/Divisional Control Office  

  • Highly developed communication skills – verbal and written 

  • Deep understanding of risk management  

  • Ability to distil, simplify and summarise complex information into crisp action plans.

  • Degree or equivalent
