1Support the mechanical maintenance team to execute plant-wide maintenance work. .
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
Safe Operations
Ensures job safety analysis (JSA) for all maintenance work performed in the Plant. Maintain a JSA inventory.
Generates interest in V&V coach & learning teams and review and follow up on the findings.
Participates in CoW review to highlight safety concerns.
Responsible for good housekeeping in the Workshop and Plant.
Responsible for Safe Work Practices in all maintenance jobs and critical lifts .
Responsible for Contractor OE Management – daily supervision of the in-house contractor work crew.
Reliability and Efficiency
Participate annual Plant Turnaround (TA) planning and scheduling, including safety performance, detailed planning, budget and quality of the TA.
Carry out all the preventive maintenance activities, which are listed on preventive maintenance and periodic check tank, pump, motor and steam system
Provide routine maintenance inspection to ensure the plant facilities working properly.
Respond to unplanned equipment failure during and after office hour.
Assist maintenance lead to manage the plant measure device, finish the periodic calibration and hose management.
Maintenance Work Management (MWM)
Responsible for receiving, planning, and scheduling work orders.
Responsible for executing work orders through leading in-house contractor work crews.
Responsible for analyzing bad actors and studying long-term solutions to improve equipment reliability.
Third Party Services
Manage and coordinate with Contractors maintenance activities in the plant.
Incident investigation
Participate maintenance related incident investigation.
Follows up with maintenance related recommendations.
Reviews incident reports with Mechanical technicians.
COST REDUCTION
Follow strategies, establishes cost metrics and measure maintenance (Mechanical) cost performance.
Responsible for planning the annual OPEX budget against the established PM tasks and anticipated CM tasks.
Follow maintenance (Mechanical) and TA budget.
Monitors spending and identifies opportunities to improve cost performance.
Job Requirements:
- Hands-on capability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, gearboxes, agitators, compressors, valves)
- Skilled in mechanical fitting, alignment, inspection, and basic machining tasks
- Familiar with welding, cutting, and fabrication work (certification is a plus)
- Strong understanding of rotating equipment, mechanical drives, bearings, seals, and lubrication systems
- Ability to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and equipment manuals
- Ability to use standard mechanical tools, precision measuring instruments, and condition monitoring tools
- Working knowledge of safety standards and safe work practices (LOTO, PPE, etc.)
- Ability to respond to equipment breakdowns and production urgencies in a timely manner
- Technical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred
- 2–5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an advantage
- Basic computer skills: experience with CMMS is a plus
