Maintenance Technician III (Wed-Sat 6:00am-4:30pm)

Independently perform Senior level technical support within the maintenance department. Trains lower-level Technicians on more advanced tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to Abbvie’s code of conduct; Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
  • Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis Capable of training others on tasks.
  • Is proficient in multiple skilled trade disciplines and creates or edits maintenance job plans
  • Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows).
  • Fully proficient in their core function, performing advanced level tasks
  • Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
  • Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site
  • Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations
  • Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
  • HS diploma with 10+ yrs. Experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. Experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
    CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired
  • Knowledge and ability to use advanced tools (i.e. machine tools, diagnostic tools, predictive tools)
    Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows). Electrical experience up to 480V is a plus.
  • Relevant experience is pharmaceutical packaging or GMP environment is preferred.
