Maintenance Manager
Job Description: POSITION PURPOSE: The Maintenance Supervisor leads all maintenance activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities in a plastic manufacturing environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: What You’ll Do: Lead and develop the maintenance team while promoting a strong safety culture Keep extrusion lines, facility systems, and equipment running at top performance Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-related issues Drive preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and equipment reliability initiatives Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiency Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, vendor relationships, and capital projects Support new equipment installations, upgrades, and environmental compliance efforts EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related technical field preferred. Equivalent combination of technical training and relevant maintenance leadership experience may be considered. EXPERIENCE 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. 3–5 years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Experience in plastics, extrusion, food packaging, or food manufacturing preferred Familiarity with CMMS systems, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and reliability practices Compensation Information: The salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually. The pay rate for a successful candidate will depend on the geographic location, this salary range is for a successful candidate in the Atlanta metro area.
