About the role 

 

As the Kitchen Hand, you will be assisting our Chefs, Cooks and broader kitchen team with basic food preparation including chopping and washing fruits and vegetables, preparing salads, and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness within the kitchen.

 

About you

 

  • Experience working in commercial kitchen environment
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices and a current Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Flexible and adaptive in complex, multi-stakeholder settings
  • Strong planning and organisational abilities
  • Professional, enthusiastic, and reliable

 

Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen and be willing to undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police Check.
