How you'll make an impact in this role
Pediatric Acute Care Expertise: Leverage over 1 year of dedicated experience in a high-velocity pediatric acute care hospital setting, delivering specialized, age-appropriate care.
Clinical Excellence & Protocol: Provide direct nursing care in strict accordance with hospital policies, accurately executing both physician and nursing orders.
Care Management & Monitoring: Implement and manage comprehensive patient care plans, closely tracking, documenting, and communicating vital shifts in patient condition.
Interdisciplinary Coordination: Act as the central point of contact across medical disciplines to ensure well-coordinated care and seamless, safe discharge planning.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
What additional requirements you'll need
1 year experience in a pediatric acute care hospital setting. Must have hospital experience.
