Facility: Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford 

Specialty: PCU and CCU Float    

Schedule: PRN | Nights

What You Will Do

• Plan Execution & Oversight: Actively implementing and adjusting care plans while keeping a constant pulse on the patient's status.
• Clinical Communication: Translating physician and nursing orders into action and documenting outcomes for the rest of the medical team.
• Interdisciplinary Liaison: Serving as the primary point of contact between different medical disciplines to prevent "silos" in treatment.
• Resource Coordination: Assessing the patient’s evolving needs and pulling in the necessary healthcare team members to meet them.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
