What You Can Expect
The IT Technician performs a combination of the following technical IT support activities with minimal supervision:
Works with a team and effectively across team boundaries and organizational levels to provide customer-first technical support for key IT assets, including end-user assets, networks, security systems, and communication systems. Support may be provided in person or virtually. The role occasionally requires after-hours and weekend support. The IT Technician understands, executes, and helps define IT processes and standards, including change and incident management, software installation, and system configuration. The role also proactively enforces global and local security policies to protect ZBS information assets, and may require lifting or moving technical equipment. This position applies the principles, concepts, and practices of the ZBS Competency Model at the Technician level.
This position is on-site 5 days per week.

- Provide direct customer support for Zimmer IT assets.
- Execute and help define IT processes and standards.
- Enforce global and local security policies.
- Fully document IT support issues and their resolution to improve team efficiency in meeting customer needs.
- Assist other IT staff with various IT projects, as needed.

Your Background
- Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, with specialized training and/or certification and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Technical IT certifications preferred
