1Inspects, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs instrumentation and control devices, including measurement sensors, analyzers, transmitters, signal transmission systems, control processors, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), final control elements, safety instrumented systems, process control networks, fire and gas systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS)/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems and associated applications. Identifies and implements reliability, integrity, economic, carbon reduction, and safety improvements for above systems.Performs routine tasks independently. General supervision of non-routine work. Has basic knowledge of Chevron policies and practices
An exciting development opportunity to work for a major international oil company. Chevron Mediterranean Ltd. is looking to recruit a junior/trainee Instrumentation and electrical Technician on a 14/14 rotation on their Tamar Production Platform.
Tamar is situated 18 miles off the coast of Isreal, with a 90-mile subsea tieback. First gas was in 2014 producing up to 1.25 BCF per day.
The Junior / Trainee Instrumentation and Electrical Technician supports the installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation, control and electrical systems used in oil and gas operations. This role is designed for entry-level candidates and focuses on developing technical skills while working under close supervision of senior technicians, ensuring safe and reliable plant operations.
