Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical parts and components into finished products or subassemblies according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications
  • Use hand tools, small power tools, and other specialized assembly equipment safely and effectively
  • Follow detailed written and verbal instructions to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Reassemble, adjust, or rework units as required to correct defects or meet specifications
  • Inspect assembled parts and completed units to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Comply with all safety, quality, and productivity requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of training and relevant mechanical assembly experience
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
  • Experience using hand tools and small power tools in a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Preferred Skills

  • Ability to read basic assembly drawings or schematics
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong teamwork skills and a reliable work ethic

Working Conditions

  • Work is typically performed in a manufacturing or production environment
  • May involve repetitive tasks, standing or sitting for extended periods, and handling small components

Compensation Information:

$19.00/hr
