IE IoT Software Program Manager – Linux & Industrial Solutions
Define and lead mainline alignment, upstreaming strategies, and branch lifecycle management across mainline, LTS, and stable trees. Ensure predictable upstream refresh cadences across kernel, Yocto, and Debian/Ubuntu ecosystems Manage large cross‑functional execution spanning kernel, multimedia, Android, connectivity, user space, and partner teams that includes the HW platform teams. Own schedules, milestone alignment, dependency mapping, risk management, and executive communications. Ensure Linux‑first, developer‑first discipline across the entire engineering pipeline. Required 10-15+ years of leadership experience within embedded Linux/Kernel/Yocto/Open‑Source ecosystems. Experience with industrial IoT systems, industrial protocols, or Linux‑based industrial platforms. Background in prototyping, customer‑facing engineering, or productizing industrial IoT software stacks. Strong documentation and developer ecosystem orientation. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 4+ years of Program Management or related work experience. Deliver developer‑grade documentation, solution guides, and production‑ready reference implementations.
