Belleville, Bloomfield, Caldwell, East Orange, Irvington, Montclair, Newark, South Orange, and West Orange.

WHAT MAKES YOU AN ELIGIBLE CANDIDATE:

- Demonstrate the ability to read/write/and effectively communicate in English
- Social Security Number and Government Identification
- Verifiable Work History
- Minimum of (1) year recent work experience
- May include retail, customer service, etc.
- (2) Professional References
- Colleagues, peers, coworkers, etc.
- Tuberculosis Exam (PPD, QuantiFERON, or Chest X-ray)
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a member of BAYADA’s personal care team, you will do truly meaningful work—and be valued, respected, and heard. Following a written care plan by a registered nurse, you’ll provide a personal care service and household support to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
- Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, etc.
- Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Range of motion/exercises
- Medication reminders
- Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/Use of mechanical lifting devices/Hoyer lift
