Who you are

'- You have hands-on cooking experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant or food service environment
- You are confident working under pressure with tight timelines, high customer flow, and constant multitasking
- You have experience serving customers quickly and efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- You understand and consistently apply strict food safety standards (expiry control, cross-contamination prevention, hygiene, SafeCheck/FOODSAFE)
- You are physically capable of standing for long hours, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks in a demanding setting
- You thrive in team-based environments where speed, communication, and coordination are critical
- You take ownership, stay organized, and maintain focus during peak rush periods
- You bring a strong work ethic, reliability, and a “jump-in where needed” mindset

Your responsibilities

'- Execute high-volume food preparation and basic cooking with speed and consistency
- Deliver fast, friendly, and efficient customer service in a busy restaurant setting
- Maintain exceptional food quality, freshness, and presentation under time pressure
- Ensure continuous cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across all kitchen and service areas
- Strictly follow IKEA food safety, hygiene, and waste-reduction protocols
- Accurately answer customer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and allergens
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak service times
- Adapt quickly to changing demands, priorities, and customer flow
- Learn and uphold IKEA’s Swedish food concepts, recipes, and service standards
- Support achieving daily service targets, efficiency metrics, and sales goals



Important :

Your first 3 months will focus on:

50% dishwashing (high-volume throughput)
50% sanitation, cleaning, and workstation maintenance

This foundational period ensures you build strong capabilities in food safety, cleanliness, and operational discipline within a high-demand environment before progressing into broader food preparation and service responsibilities.
