Fleet Supervisor
JOB DESCRIPTION
Purpose of Position: Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager – Western Canada , this role will oversee the scheduling of all deliveries/pick-ups for both the packaged and bulk (team of dispatchers and drivers).
Ensuring safe and optimized deliveries and pick-ups (bulk and packaged)
Ensuring fleet repairs and maintenance are properly scheduled, managed and accounted for
Approve invoices and liaise with Sr. Ops Mgr for any CAPEX requirements
Organize and chair monthly driver meetings (with respective dispatchers)
Ensuring Near Misses are reported, recorder and shared
Update and responsible for department KPI’s
Ensuring driver POVL’s provided in timely manner
Ensuring any property, vehicle damages are reported and investigated in timely manner
Partake in driver interview and onboarding process
Communicate with CSR re. any customer related issues
Manage and keep track of NOGO’s – root causes, costs etc.
Support and coach dispatchers and drivers as required
