JOB DESCRIPTION

Purpose of Position: Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager – Western Canada , this role will oversee the scheduling of all deliveries/pick-ups for both the packaged and bulk (team of dispatchers and drivers).

  • Ensuring safe and optimized deliveries and pick-ups (bulk and packaged)

  • Ensuring fleet repairs and maintenance are properly scheduled, managed and accounted for

  • Approve invoices and liaise with Sr. Ops Mgr for any CAPEX requirements

  • Organize and chair monthly driver meetings (with respective dispatchers)

  • Ensuring Near Misses are reported, recorder and shared

  • Update and responsible for department KPI’s

  • Ensuring driver POVL’s provided in timely manner

  • Ensuring any property, vehicle damages are reported and investigated in timely manner

  • Partake in driver interview and onboarding process

  • Communicate with CSR re. any customer related issues

  • Manage and keep track of NOGO’s – root causes, costs etc.

  • Support and coach dispatchers and drivers as required
